tampabay.com October 10, 2017 With Tropical Heatwave no longer in the picture, might WhigFest become the multi-venue music festival Ybor City needs?

After a three-year hiatus, the festival, which ran at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg until 2015, will make its Ybor City debut on Feb. 17 and 18 on three stages at the Cuban Club and the Attic at Rock Brothers Brewing. Chicago jam-rock fusionists Umphrey’s McGee will headline with a three-hour fest on Sunday, Feb. 18. A Saturday night headliner will be announced soon.

Among the other 20-plus bands planned so far for WhigFest 2018: Stokeswood, Polyenso, Forrest Hoffar, Swimm, J.T. Brown, Mountain Holler and Kristopher James.
